The following Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and agreement between The School of Mindful Healing and the provision of the services provided. By booking and attending an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms. 

Introduction

Our aim is to empower individuals through mindfulness and holistic practices, supporting personal growth, wellbeing, and lifelong learning in a safe and nurturing environment. We welcome all who seek growth, honouring diverse backgrounds, disabilities and individual needs. Our aim is to empower and equip students and clients with tools and knowledge to support their own wellbeing and development as an individual.

Bookings

  • Appointments can be made via our Contact Form, Email or WhatsApp.

  • You will receive a booking confirmation via email, WhatsApp or text once a date has been confirmed. 

  • Clients or students must be 18 years or older to book, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Clients or students will complete a consultation form upon arrival or for online services this would be vis email.

 
Fees & Payment
  • You will receive an invoice once your booking has been confirmed.
  • Please note, bookings are not secured until payment has been received.
  • Full payment of a service is due either on booking or one week before appointment day. 
  • Payment is accepted via bank transfer. 
  • A three-instalment payment plan is available on selected courses, including an initial deposit. Full payment must be made before the course date. Please request this when booking.
  • Current service prices are listed on the website and the WhatsApp catalogue. 

 

Deposits & Refund Policy

  • Deposits are required where stated unless full payment is required.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if you choose to cancel.
  • Deposits can be transferred to another day if you are unable to attend your appointment. 
  • A full refund will only be given if cancellation is made by The School of Mindful Healing.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • Please give at least 24hrs notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. We ask that you are mindful and respectful of someone else requiring an appointment and materials or venues being purchased. 

  • Deposits are non-refundable. 

  • Missed appointments without any notification or where pre-payment has been made is non-refundable. Failure to respond to messages will entail a non-rebooking. 

  • Exceptions may be made for emergencies at the discretion of The School of Mindful Healing.  

 

Services

  • The School of Mindful Healing offer a professional holistic nature for educational and learning purposes only.
  • Our services are complementary to medical and professional care. We do not replace or work against any services you may be receiving, but aim to work in harmony to support your wellbeing.
  • Card readings are available to clients aged 18 and over and are conducted on a one-to-one basis.
  • Where we cannot meet certain needs, we will suggest an alternative service.
  • The School of Mindful Healing offers a safe in-person space for women to attend.
  • We welcome all to join selected services where stated. We are mindful this may not suit all, but we are also mindful of those that need specific support. 
  • We reserve the right to update service, pricing or these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted via our social media outlets and website. 

 
Client Responsibilities and Health Disclosure
  • It is the client's or students responsibility to disclose any medical conditions or ongoing treatments before receiving any service. 
  • The School of Mindful Healing reserves the right to decline or postpone any service deemed unsafe or inappropriate. 
  • Clients must arrive clean and respectful of hygiene and boundaries. 
Code of Conduct
  • The School of Mindful Healing offers a professional, safe and inclusive practice. 
  • Inappropriate behaviour (including harassment, intoxication or disrespect) will result in termination of the session, and may result to be reported to the appropriate authorities where necessary. 
 
Disclaimer​​
  • While every effort is made to provide safe and effective services, The School of Mindful Healing accepts no liability for any adverse effects, injuries or outcomes resulting from the session, unless caused by proven negligence.  
  • The School of Mindful Healing takes no responsibility after the student completes a course for their subsequent teaching and practice methods, development and learning. The student's learning and application of knowledge becomes their own responsibility.
